About wc30.org
A free, independent simulator of the 2030 World Cup and the whole road to it.
What this is
wc30.org is a free simulator for the 2030 FIFA World Cup. It lets you play the entire road to the tournament — all six continental qualifying competitions, the inter-confederation play-off, the final draw, the group stage and the knockout rounds — with every one of the 211 nations in the FIFA ranking. You can let it simulate everything, or go match by match and replay any result you like.
Around the game the site publishes what the simulation is built on and what comes out of it: a guide to the tournament, how each confederation qualifies, the ratings of every team, odds counted over 20,000 simulated tournaments, a page for every nation, and a full account of how the model works and where it falls short.
Who makes it
The site is built and run by an independent developer and football fan, as a personal project. It began as a simulator for the 2026 World Cup, which is still available at wc26.org, and was rebuilt for 2030 with qualifying added — 639 more matches per cycle, and a reason to care about nations that never reach a World Cup.
It is not affiliated with FIFA, with any confederation or national association, or with any bookmaker. It is free to use and does not require an account.
Where the numbers come from
- Team ratings are the points totals of the FIFA/Coca-Cola Men's World Ranking, currently the release of 7 October 2026. They are updated when FIFA publishes a new ranking.
- Attack and defence scores are computed from each nation's recent results in a public dataset of international matches.
- Formats follow what FIFA and the confederations have published. Where a 2030 format has not been announced, the simulator uses the shape of the previous cycle and says so.
- Every match result on the site is simulated. None of it is real, and none of it is a prediction.
The model was tuned against several thousand real international matches so that simulated qualifiers and World Cups have a realistic share of home wins, draws and goals. The comparison is on the methodology page.
Corrections and contact
Formats change, host cities drop out and rankings move. If something here is out of date or wrong, we want to know. The quickest way to reach us is the project's Discord server, which is also where new features are discussed.
Languages
The simulator and these guide pages are both available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian.
The best introduction is the game itself.
